Dr. Heather Mestdagh, D.C. - Chiropractor

Dr. Heather Mestdagh, of Columbia IL, was born at home naturally and got her first adjustment within 5 minutes of life. Chiropractic has been a major part of her life ever since. She attained both a Bachelor of Arts degree and a Bachelor of Science degree and had worked in 4 busy Chiropractic offices before deciding to relocate from Winnipeg, MB, Canada to St Louis, MO and attend Logan College of Chiropractic where she graduated from in 2010.

Dr. Mestdagh has been highly involved in her community. For over 10 years now she has helped establish food drives for the St Louis Foodbank, collectively donating over one million pounds of food to the needy while also donating free Chiropractic care.

Dr. Heather has taken many post graduate educational courses to supplement her knowledge and desire to provide the finest care possible.  Courses in Neurology, Orthopedics, Nutrition, Sports Injuries, Geriatrics, Pediatrics, X-ray, Disability, Auto and Work Injuries, Muscular and Chiropractic adjusting techniques.  Dr. Mestdagh also works closely with attorneys and insurance adjusters who deal with auto related and workers comp injuries, and has been called on to share her knowledge and experience as an expert witness in a trial situation.

Dr. Heather has experienced first hand the benefits of lifelong Chiropractic care and is committed to helping as many people as possible live pain free without the use of drugs or surgery. She uses a whole body approach to treat her patients so they can do what they want to do when they want to do it. She is known for taking on complex cases and tirelessly working to find the root cause of her patients health concerns. Dr. Mestdagh is always there when her patients need her, providing detailed explanations of their x-rays, diagnosis and treatments and works to establish goals with her patients so they can live their best life possible. 

Dr. Laurie Mestdagh, D.C. - Chiropractor

Dr. Laurie Mestdagh, of Columbia IL, is of Belgian decent, and was born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. Dr. Mestdagh attended the University of Manitoba for six years, graduating with honors and two degrees.  He left Canada to pursue his education at the famous Life Chiropractic College in Atlanta, Georgia graduating with highest honors, Summa Cum Laude. Dr. Mestdagh received many awards at Life College including the prestigious and coveted Clinician Award for Outstanding Service. Dr. Mestdagh also taught anatomy dissection lab and further received a diploma in physiotherapy at the Brennau College, University of Georgia.

Dr. Mestdagh has been actively involved in his profession.  He is a member of the  International Chiropractic Association, the Illinois Chiropractic Society, and has an active license in Arizona and Illinois.  He has served as a board member, Committee Chairman for the Workers Compensation Board, and the Automobile Insurance Corporation, Medicare Chairman, Post Graduate Education Chairman, Complaints and Disciplinary Chairman and Legislative Committee Chair. 

Dr. Mestdagh was introduced to Chiropractic at a young age suffering with severe asthma, headaches, and many serious injuries from sports.  Receiving enormous benefit, Chiropractic corrected the cause of his problems, restoring his health completely.  Dr. Mestdagh remains excited about practicing Chiropractic and about really helping people to eliminate their pain, improve their health, and improve their life.  Dr. Mestdagh works with the whole person in improving spiritual, emotional, nutritional and physical health.  He likes you to know, no matter the circumstances, there is hope and that you can overcome illness, injury, pain and depression.  He is committed to this task naturally without the use of drugs or surgery.  He says “Expect a Miracle!”
